Birth of Union Soldier Albert Cashier in Louth 1843

#OnThisDay 1843 Albert Cashier was born in Clogherhead, Louth. Albert, a trans man, served with the 95th Illinois Inf & fought at Vicksburg, Kennesaw Mt and others. Albert was captured & but overpowered the guard & escaped. Albert survived the war &died in 1915
