IV Richard O’Carroll Dies from Wounds from Rising 1916

#OnThisDay 1916 Richard O’Carroll died from wounds having been shot by Capt Bowen-Colthurst nine days earlier during the Rising. O’Carroll was prominent trade unionist, a founding member of the Labour Party & organised O’Donovan Rossa’s funeral.
