#OnThisDay 1971 General Richard Mulcahy passed away. Mulcahy was in the IRB, fought in the Easter Rising, was IRA Commander-in-Chief during War of Independence, Commander of Free-State Army in Civil War, Head of Fine Gael & held several ministerial positions .
