#OnThisDay 1773 The Boston Tea Party took place. Roughly 116 men, members of the Sons of Liberty, threw 342 crates of tea into Boston harbour in an act of Defiance to the British Rule. Among them was Kilkenny born Thomas White who had only just moved to Boston.
