Canon Magner & Tadhg Crowley Murdered by Auxiliary, Cork 1920

#OnThisDay 1920 Canon Magner (71) & Tadhg Crowley were murdered by a British Auxiliary called Harte in an unprovoked attack near Dunmanway, Cork. Harte was found guilty of murder but declared insane at the time of the shooting. By 1923 he was free & in South Africa.
