#OnThisDay 1883 Elizabeth O’Farrell was born in Dublin city. She was a midwife, was in Cumann na mBan & was in a same sex relationship with Julie Grennan. O’Farrell is probably best known for bravely carrying Pearse’s surrender letter to General Lowe in 1916.
