Michael Fitzgerald, IRA Hunger Striker Dies 1920

#OnThisDay 1920 Michael Fitzgerald (left) died after 67 days on hunger strike in Cork jail. Fitzgerald the first of three IRA hunger strikers to die that month. The others: Joseph Murphy & Lord Mayor of Cork, Terence MacSwiney who died in Brixton after 74 days.
