#OnThisDay 1864 At the Battle of Pickett’s Mill, Cork born Major General Patrick Cleburne outnumbered army defeats Maj. Gen. Oliver Howard’s 14,000 men. The battle started late (5pm) & continued into the night. By day break, Cleburne’s men still held the field.
