#OnThisDay 1968 Captain Edmund Landers from Oola, Limerick was KIA in Vietnam. In command of a reconnaissance-in-force patrol, Landers neutralised several enemy positions but returning from the frontline, he encountered more enemy & was killed. Buried in Oola.
