Michael Collins a staff captain in the Volunteers, was Joseph Plunkett’s aide-de-camp in the GPO during the Easter Rising. Collins was held outside the Rotunda & saw Captain Lea-Wilson strip & abuse Tom Clarke. Wilson was later shot dead by the Squad.
