Madeleine ffrench-Mullen was a member of the ICA. She organised a protest at King George V’s visit to Ireland in 1911. During the Rising, she treated the wounded, including sniper Margaret Skinnider. Madeleine was secretary of St. Ultan’s Hosp. for over two decades.
