#OnThisDay 1830 Major General Baron Johann O’Brien passed away in Pressburg (now Bratislava). O’Brien joined the Austrian Army & fought at various battles against Napoleon e.g. Jedlesee. Twice he had a horse shot from under him &was once bayonetted but survived.
