#OnThisDay 1937 Christopher ‘Kit’ Conway was killed in action at the Battle of Jarama during the Spanish Civil War. Conway fought during the WoI & the Civil War, before signing up to the International Brigade to fight Franco’s Nationalist forces in Spain.
