Five Deserters Executed in Civil War 1923

#OnThisDay 1923 Five Free State Army deserters were executed by firing squad in Dublin. They had aided the IRA in an ambush on the FSA in Maynooth, the previous December. They were the first National Army soldiers to be executed for Treachery. Names in pic.
