#OnThisDay 1923 Tom Barry & 65 IRA men attack various Free State Army positions in Millstreet, Cork. Barry’s men overran 3 FS positions capturing 38 prisoners, 39 rifles & 1 Lewis gun but failed in their main objective of taking Carnegie Hall & withdraw.
