#OnThisDay 1921 Michael Collins, Arthur Griffith & the other Irish plenipotentiaries are issued an ultimatum by British Prime Minister Lloyd George to sign the Anglo-Irish Treaty. Lloyd-George warned “immediate and terrible war” if they did not sign.
