Nicholas de Sales Prendergast Murdered by Auxiliaries, Fermoy 1920

#OnThisDay 1920 Nicholas Prendergast, from Wexford, an ex-British Army officer & hotel owner was beaten to death by Auxiliaries in a bar in Fermoy. He choked on his dentures. They then dumped his body into a river, which was discovered over a month later.
