Eoin O’Duffy Passed Away 1944

#OnThisDay 1944 Eoin O’Duffy died in Dublin. O’Duffy had fought in the War of Independence, became IRA Chief of Staff, Garda Commissioner and then the head of the ACA/Blueshirts, leader of Fine Gael & supported the Fascists under Franco in the Spanish Civil War.
