16th BN Royal Irish Rifles Leave for the Western Front 1915

#OnThisDay 1915 The 16th Royal Irish Rifles were ordered to leave camp for France. They were unexpected at Southampton, slept on the docks, sailed through a storm on a crowded ship. At Le Havre there was no beds or food & nobody knew where they had to go!
