Free State Army land at Passage West 1922

#OnThisDay 1922 Emmet Dalton lands 800 soldiers of the Free State Army, artillery & Peerless armoured cars at Passage West, Cork. Further landings take place into the Munster Republic as part of their drive on Cork City. There are several deaths on both sides.
