Volunteer Michael Conway Buriedin Ennistymon 1920

#OnThisDay 1920 Volunteer Michael Conway from Ennistymon, Clare was buried. The night previous, he & three Volunteers tried to disarm two British officers but Conway was shot in the affray. His brother, a priest, administered the Last Rites. Conway was 22.
