#OnThisDay 1967 Private John Patrick Collopy, from Limerick, was killed in action when the armoured personnel carrier he was in was hit by an RPG while serving with 22nd Inf. Reg, 4th Inf. Div during the Vietnam War. He died nine days after his 21st birthday.
