#OnThisDay 1855 Pvt Joseph Bradshaw from Dromkeen, Limerick attacked & captured a Russian rifle pit during the Crimean War. For his actions, he was promoted to Corporal & was awarded the Victoria Cross. Bradshaw survived the war & is buried in St. John’s Limerick.
