#OnThisDay 1916 Patrick Pearse & the IRB Military Council ‘kidnapped’ James Connolly & over the next three days convinced him to give up his plans of an ICA led insurrection & join their rebellion instead. The meeting was held in Dophin’s Barn, Dublin.
