#OnThisDay 1915 While at Cromarty, the HMS Natal exploded as a result of faulty ammunition killing over 400 of its crew, half of whom were under 25, including Nathaniel Taylor from Down. There were also wives & 3 kids on board as the Captain hosted a party.
