#OnThisDay 1887 Joseph Mary Plunkett was born in Dublin. Plunkett was a poet, journalist, Irish nationalist & one of the leaders of the 1916 Rising. Plunkett created the military plan for the Rising. Hours before his execution he married Grace Gifford. #Ireland #History
