#OnThisDay 1398 Roger Mortimer 4th Earl of March, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland & heir presumptive to the English Crown was killed at the Battle of Kellistown, Carlow by the Byrnes & O’Tooles. Mortimer was dressed, illegally, in Irish clothing during the battle. #Ireland #History
