#OnThisDay 1169 The Normans first landed on Bannow Bay, Wexford. This contingent was led by Robert FitzStephen to reinstate Dermot MacMurrogh to his Leinster kingdom. They quickly took Wexford &when reinforcements came, Waterford & Dublin. The rest is history.
