#Onthisday 1921 Kay McNulty, the mother of modern-day computer programming was born in Donegal. McNulty’s family moved to the US where she got a degree in Mathematics which she used to compute artillery ballistic trajectories for the US Army during #WW2.

I'm David, I'm from Ireland. I am an avid fan of history. I have my B.A. in History, my M.A. in Military History and Strategic Studies,a Post Qualification Diploma in History and I've been teaching History for five years now.
