#OnThisDay 1921 A British Army convoy opened fire with machine guns on a group of boys hurling in Knocknagree, Cork. Micheal Kelliher (16) was killed & two Herlihy brothers (11& 13) were shot in the thigh & lung but lived. The Army claimed the boys were armed.
