#OnThisDay 1921 The Mid-Clare IRA, lead by Michael Brennan, ambushed & killed 6 RIC at Glenwood House. Eight rifles, seven revolvers & 1,000 rds of ammo were taken. Reprisals followed with the Black and Tans burning houses from Feakle to Sixmilebridge.
