#OnThisDay 1943 London Irish Rifles fight for positions near, Bou Arada, Tunisia. They lost 250 men over two days from German artillery & armoured counterattacks before consolidating their position. Among the dead were Cpl Hall from Tipperary & Pte Murphy from Cork.
