#OnThisDay 1902 Kevin Barry was born in Dublin. Barry, a medical student & IRA Volunteer. He had raided for arms & ambushed soldiers, when he was captured & sentenced to death. Barry was the first republican to be executed since the Easter Rising. He was 18.
