#OnThisDay 1921 Martial Law is extended to Clare, Kilkenny, Waterford & Wexford. Public meetings like marts, fairs, football matches are banned. All Crown forces there ‘were declared to be on active service’. Anyone found with weapons will ‘Suffer Death’.
