#OnThisDay 1920 IRA Vol Patrick Clancy from Limerick was bayoneted & shot dead by RIC & British soldiers. Vol.Sean O’Connell was also killed. Both were arrested & killed while “trying to escape”. Funeral goers were searched, questioned & the young men beaten.
