#OnThisDay 1971 The last of eleven Catholic civilians were killed by the 1st Bn Parachute Regiment in Ballymurphy, Belfast. One of the deceased was a priest & another a mother of 8. The shootings began on August 9th. This is known as the Ballymurphy Massacre.
