#OnThisDay 1944 Rifleman Michael O’Reilly 1Bn Royal Ulster Rifles, from Dublin was killed in action during the attack on Ste Honorine. Originally buried in a field near Ranville, in July 1945 he was re-interred to Ranville War Cemetery.He was 21 years old.
