#OnThisDay 1920 Detective Constable Laurence Dalton was mortally wounded by Mick McDonnell, Tom Keogh&Jim Slattery, members of Collins’ Squad in Broadstone, Phibsboro. Dalton had recently moved to the DMP’s “G” Division, he was suspected of identifying IRA men.
