The Tuam Martyrs 1923

#OnThisDay 1923 Six Anti-Treaty IRA prisoners were executed at 8am by the Free State in Tuam. The six men, known as the Tuam Martyrs, were found guilty of having rifles & ammunition, all of whom were captured after a firefight at Cluide, Galway on February 21st.
