#OnThisDay 1969 Corporal Sean Timothy Doran was killed in an ambush around Fire Support Base Jackson near Tay Ninh, Vietnam. He was pointman of the platoon & killed first in the attack. His tour had started 15 days previous. Doran was originally from Dublin.
