Six IRA Volunteers Executed in Mountjoy Prison 1921

#OnThisDay 1921 Patrick Doyle (Pic) & five other IRA men were hanged by the British Authorities in Mountjoy Prison, Dublin. Doyle’s wife had recently just had twins and one died on the 12th March, supposedly she caught a chill returning from a visit to the prison.
The other deceased were:
Frank Xavier Flood
Thomas Whelan
Patrick Moran
Thomas J Bryan
Bernard Ryan.
