#OnThisDay 2015 US Marines Staff Sgt Liam Flynn from Kildare was killed during a training exercise in Florida when the helicopter he was aboard crashed. Flynn was serving with the Marines Special Operations Command (MARSOC)/ The famous Marine Raiders & had four tours of Iraq & Afghanistan.
