#OnThisDay 1921 The Mayor of Limerick George Clancy (Right) & Ex-Mayor Michael O’Callaghan (Left) were shot dead in their homes by Black & Tans. A third man, Joe O’Donoghue was also shot 18 times & his corpse left on Janesboro st., now O’Donoghue street.
