#OnThisDay 1921 Sean Moylan & his Volunteers Column ambushed a RIC patrol at Tureengarriffe, Kerry killing two & wounding the rest. The patrol was lead by RIC Divisional Commissioner Major P.A. Holmes. Moylan cared for the wounded but Holmes died the next day.
