#OnThisDay 1864 Cork-born General Patrick Cleburne was one of six Confederate generals killed during the Battle of Franklin, Tennessee. Many Irish & Irish-Americans in the Tennessee 10th Infantry also fell. The Army of Tennessee was essentially destroyed here.
