#OnThisDay 1753 James McHenry was born in Antrim & moved to America at 17. He was a surgeon in the Revolutionary War, aide to George Washington & signatory of the US Constitution. Fort McHenry was named after him which following a British attack on it in 1814 inspired Francis Scott Key to write the US National Anthem, the Star Spangled Banner.
