#OnThisDay 1175 The Treaty of Windsor is signed by Rory O’Connor. He submitted to King Henry II offering tribute. O’Connor was king of the parts of Ireland not ruled by Norman lords. But O’Connor cannot contain the Norman expansion & the Treaty soon falls apart.
