#OnThisDay 1915 Trooper Thomas Stevenson, from Strabane died of illness during the Gallipoli Campaign. Stevenson had only enlisted in December 1914 & was in theatre for five months. His unit, the 2nd Light Horse Regiment (Australia) won 19 battle honours. #Ireland #History #WW1
