#OnThisDay 1864 Roger Casement was born in Dublin. Casement was a diplomat & was knighted for his work highlighting the plight of the natives under Belgian Congo & in Peru. He was an Irish nationalist & the last leader of the Easter Rising to be executed in 1916.
