#OnThisDay 1918 Private Frank Finan from Dromore Sligo died from wounds suffered in a German gas attack. Formerly of the Irish Guards & Connaught Rangers Finan was one of 510 men & 18 officers who were casualties in that attack on the 10th Sherwood Foresters.
